Neranese
Strategy + Voice + Messaging
With Forner, I developed a brand for the slow fashion clothing line of LA designer, Sonja Nesse. Expressing the careful consideration and conscious ethos of her small collection, we created an identity that is equal parts thoughtful and beautiful.

Strategy
We positioned the collection as the forever wardrobe for the creative woman seeking effortless style and studied fit. And came up with the phrase Real Romantics to represent the Neranese aesthetic, serving as our creative north star.

We were inspired by how beautiful choices change the world—including both the designer’s choices, and the wearer who chooses clothing made slowly, ethically and with care.

Voice + Messaging
We created a poetic manifesto and the brand tagline, Things of Beauty, a nod to the poem Endymion by John Keats.

We wrote sonnets and snippets of poetry that felt like they’d been excerpted from a personal journal for an elevated yet intimate feel.

We brought this brand poetry into varied placements, from wheatpaste walls to boxes to hang tags.

Neranese makes fewer, nicer things with consideration for the natural world. Their process is local, low-impact and ethical end-to-end.
